Wednesday Night Summer Programs

Begins June 8 through August 17 (11 weeks)

As of right now we plan to meet every Wednesday evening (depending on availability) through the summer months for 1 ½ to 2 hours from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 or 8:00 P.M.

The program will be flexible and we will be doing a variety of things – movies, documentaries (we have some excellent programs about the Bible and Israel), brief devotionals.

We will try to announce the week’s focus in advance whenever possible, but the purpose of this program is primarily for the Church to have a regular opportunity for fellowship throughoutthe summer months.
For our first Wednesday Night fellowship we will be showing the 2019 movie It’s a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, a film about Fred Rogers, otherwise known as Mr. Rogers, who is played by Tom Hanks.  It’s about 1 hour and 50 minutes long, and if you haven’t seen it, you really need to.  If you have seen it, it’s definitely worth watching again.  Although it is a low-key presentation (if you remember the T.V. show you know what that means), it’s a powerful story about the influence a life lived according to biblical principles can have on others, and more specifically the impact that ”relationship evangelism” can have, even on the most skeptical people.
