Ministry Program Changes

MINISTRY PROGRAM ANNOUNCEMENT (Draft)

July 28, 2021

Ironically, we made it through the first wave of the pandemic with only one case of Covid in our fellowship, and that was one of our homebound members.

However, the second wave has hit us pretty hard.  We have about 15 or 16 members who are ill with Covid-like symptoms, and 3 have been hospitalized, one in critical condition.

As a result we believe it is prudent that we limit our ministry activities until we can be reasonably sure that the others will not be infected – whether it is Covid or just the flu that is impacting our people.

With that in mind, I plan to be at the church on Sunday morning for those who have NO flu-like symptoms at all and who would like to meet to pray for our nation, our church, and our families and hear a message from God’s Word.  At this time I do not even know if we will be able to stream the service because our AV team has been impacted by the disease.  We will if we can.  If not, I plan to put something that I trust you will find helpful and encouraging on Facebook using my phone.

We don’t have any more prepackaged communion cups, so we will not try to celebrate communion until September 5th.

Our Wednesday night program has been put on indefinite hold due to key individuals coming down with Covid.

Our next Men’s Ministry Bible Study is planned for August 28.

For those meeting for breakfast on Wednesdays, I will not be attending for several weeks until the Covid spike has subsided.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support, especially for brother Rick!

Pastor Ross
